A designer wanted steel. We gave them the exact look, hundreds of pounds lighter.
A design called for four-foot, one-inch steel plates hung from a ceiling. Beautiful, and in a city that shakes, hundreds of pounds of structural risk overhead. We delivered the identical look in boxed, blackened aluminum, fabricated in our own shop and installed without a single trip back to the architect.
